      There has been alot of questions about the “open state” of the site for none logged in users.

      I just was to clarify, only content posted publicly on your profile and posts in public groups are visible for non logged in users.

      I you wish your content to be hidden for non logged in users, remeber to choose the option when you post to your wall and choose the option shown in the image.

      The reason for the open state of the site is to show content to new users and not just a login screen. The reason is also, to make it possible to link to posts directly and post to facebook, without people need to login to se the linked posts.
